DESCRIPTION:From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday\, April 2nd\,The Burke Historical Society will present a small exhibit at the Sydenstricker Schoolhouse.  See the historic schoolhouse and enjoy some of our posters on local history\, including a new interpretive shadow box featuring artifacts from the Burke area.  Admission is free\, but donations are appreciated to benefit the schoolhouse and its historical outreach programs. \nThe schoolhouse is located at 8511 Hooes Road\, Springfield\, VA 22153\, next to the old Sydenstricker Methodist Chapel\, and across the street from Sydenstricker Methodist Church. There’s a small parking lot at the schoolhouse and additional parking in the church lot across the street.
