General Meeting

For our September general meeting, we’ll screen a video on Burke’s history made by 4th-graders of Cherry Run Elementary School, with some assistance from the BHS.  The video was made for an annual contest run by the Virginia Trekkers, Henrico County teachers who film their visits to historic sites for the benefit of schools across the state.  Their contest invites schools to show their own local history, with each year’s winner receiving a dance party thrown by the Trekkers.  Cherry Run’s video on Burke was just picked as the statewide winner for the 2015 school year!
