Stop by the Burke Historical Society’s table at the Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department’s annual open house!  This is a great opportunity to learn about Burke history and fire safety, with lots of fun activities for children.

All day Saturday and Sunday, the National Capital Trackers will operate O-gauge model trains through miniature town and country scenery.  The BHS is supporting this event with several posters on the history of the Orange & Alexandria Railroad, historically-themed coloring activities, and Silas Burke reading train stories to children at 11 a.m. Sunday. https://librarycalendar.fairfaxcounty.gov/event/10212506
